[osflash] Red5, NetStream and audio

Hello all.

Does anybody know how flash sends audio from the microphone to the server? I
need to know what audio format is used.
Also maybe somebody knows where I can see the red5 code to check out how the
publish feature is implemented: how it starts, how it receives the audio.
