I'm with a proyect running 1800 polys, with bitmapData (Stage -> Medium) and runing at 40-50 frames in a Core 2 Duo 1.73also using tweenlite for vertex morphing, and still runs smooth. You can handle much larger polycounts but with culling and frustrum camera. Those will make your life easier with big models.

I am trying to scope out an upcoming project that I am considering doing with heavy use of papervision 2.0. Are there any benchmarks (or even personal experiences) regarding the type of load (e.g. number of polys) that papervision can handle comfortably?

Thanks,
Gordon
