hehe no, you're seeing the spoof I did for the original demo - it's a half
sphere model with just a 2D shot of the Death Star and Endor mapped to the
front. The nice thing was that it really cut down the poly count, but of
course, as you pass it, you realize it's just a fake ;)
I would think something like a billboard would be more appropriate -
something you never really get to, but it's there. LIke the planets in most
star games - you never "get" there, but it's a big planet in the landscape
