[Papervision3D] ASE Import shows no geometry

Hello folks. I have all my lighting algorithms in
rough form and was going to benchmark a few methods of
altering face materials so they "react" to lighting. I
got the HelloPlane and HelloCollada working. I had to
zoom the camera to .5 to get the world in my FP
viewport. I was wondering if others had to do the same
to get the whole sphere in the window. I believe it is
set to 3 in the example.

I have an ASE exporter for Cinema 4D that write the
same files as the 3DS Max exporter.. However, upon
publishing of the example for HelloAse the output
window show the faces and vertices parsed and by the
frame rate it appears to be manipulating something
when I mouse about the stage..but the geometry is not
there. This is both for the world.ase file and a
second one i created myself. Anybody have any
suggestions? I have the new SVN files updated this
morning.

On another note I see that often in a quadrangle
composed of two triangles that one of the textures is
flipped. I am not totally familiar with this whole set
of classes yet but it seems that maybe the parsing of
the order of the second set of vertices may start from
the same vertex as the first ordering. My intuition
tells me that this may cause a counterclockwise
ordering of the vertices and cause the second triangle
in the plane to map its texture in reverse. Face
Normals will also flip if the vertices are not parsed
in the correct order and my lighting algorithms won't
realise they are lit and not in shadow..

I downloaded Blender so I can play with the Collada
export but boy oh boy..what a thick soup of a UI on
that puppy. I am gonna stick with Cinema 4D and the
ASE plugin for my experiments till I have time to go
over all the docs on Blender.

As well, since the .obj format is ubiquitous and most
every 3D app supports it as import or export are their
any plans to write an OBJ importer?

Best Regards
