[Papervision3D] Cameras Zoom versus Focus in AS 2 version

Hi folks. Starting to see some Q's and A's I can sink
my teeth into.

My question is about the camera. I have a panorama
cube with an HDRI cross mapped to it. In my 3D app the
camera which is set at
Focal Length 44
Aperture width 67.8
FOV 75.225
gives me a proper cubic panorama render with no
perspective distorion..

In PV3D AS2 I have set the camera to many different
zoom/focus combos and it seems like .1-.25 zoom and
5000 focus get me near the ballpark but it is still
off. Is there a correlation between my above camera
settings and the PV3D camera settings? I recall there
being something about zoom 1 and 100 focus being the
default but this just creates a megaperspective mess
with alot of missing tris. I have tried upping the
Collda scaling on load but that seems to do nothing.
Any explanation as to the proper ratios to have
between these two for proper real eyes viewing real
world perspective calculation? Can I get the height,
width and depth of an object after it is loaded?

On the world units... It seems to me I load something
I made at 1000 units and then have to move it tens of
thousands of units to get percievable movement..like
it has multiplied the units or has different units
than the internally generated camera. Any suggestions
or explanations i can sink my teeth into? Once I have
it figured out then all that has to be done is get one
of the hundreds of hdri cross images all over the web,
or make one from a light probe and make a .png out of
it and load that onto the PanoCube and you can change
location with a click and view that places panoprama.
As well one could render an interior archvis or game
interior and load that onto the PanoCube..but I have
to figure out the camera zoom/focus settings with some
degree of accuracy as to what i am trying to achieve.

Best Regards
Randy Blain
