Ooops, I see what you mean :) Not just a generic xyz coordinate, but from
an object surface.
That would be really handy. Got to look into that.

Yes it is possible, and quite common in game APIs, but no its not in PV3D
yet.
This is a specific case of a raycast into a scene. In this case the ray
is from the camera to the x,y, z of the near plane. Apart from object
picking with the mouse, this is really handy for shooting things.
