[Papervision3D] strange clipping/rendering

one thing I did was to put the objects that I always want on top into a
different scene.  Then I have the 2 scenes render the same camera.

Imagine the model viewer I put out a while ago - I had to find a way, no
matter what rotation I did, to put the grid under the actual model - I
created to scenes (Canvas objects in Flex2) and one simply is displayed
under the other.  So, the grid is always lower than the model in the stack.

make sense?
