[Papervision3D] Performance above 10K Polygons

Hi Group!

 

First, let me say that i´m really excited about Papervision3D and the
possibilities it opens up for the community! Kudos tot he Dev-Team!

 

I tried Papervision3d i little bit and tested it especially with models
around and above 10 K polies.. compared to other Software3D Engines  (based
on JAVA) it is still very slow


The question i have now: what do you think is there potential for some
optimization in the code or would you say that this i already maximum speed
you can achieve with AS3 / Flash9 ?

 

Anyway, for smaller things it s already a really cool thing, i´m just hoping
to do more complicated models with it, maybe for product visualisation
stuff


 

Btw.. if you need any more complicated models for testing and improving
performance, i can do some.
