[Papervision3D] Baking light and shadow in Maya

You can also use mental ray if you want to bake additional
information, such as occlusion or GI (final gather) into your texture
maps. Just be aware that it requires accurate UV mapping and possible
adjustments in Photoshop (or your image editor of choice) of the end
texture, because edges of the UVs in the texture will be padded
slightly during the bake process.
You just select your object, make sure the Mayatomr.mll is loaded in
your plugins and then go to "Lighting/Shading" and "BatchBake (mental
ray)". From there it's just a matter of checking the docs to make
sure your settings are correct. If you don't see the "Lighting/
Shading" menu, make sure you are in "Rendering" mode.
