Congratulations on the job offer! Hope they're paying you well :-)

Could the tutorials go up on the papervision wiki, too? I think that
would help keep things centralized, but you're writing them so it's your
call I guess, was just a thought.

I've written a ton of stuff for the paperworld framework, some of which
- mainly around pre-loading models and textures and holding them for use
and stuff like that - you might find useful... It's all AS3... I'll send
you some bits and pieces early next week when I'm more in control of my
life... it's all drama round here at the moment.

Subject: [Papervision3D] Tutorials

Hi List

I promised some tutorials a while ago, but have been quite busy doing
stuff to prepare for a job interview
Btw. my papervision project made quite an impression, and they offered
me the job :)

But concerning the tutorials I've decided on a simple plan, that
involves possible contributors.

The plan is simply dividing the project into 3 parts

1. Papervision specific parts
This is the main focus, and will be tutorials concerning the usage
of the library, and practical information
on how to use papervision in the different development environments
(flex, flash 9, flashdevelop etc).

2. Graphical specific parts
Everything concerning 3D modelling and texturing. These tutorials
might as well be links to other available materials
as there is no need for wasting time on stuff that is already on the
net.
But a tutorial on the specifics on exporting for pv3d will probably
be useful.

3. Other parts
Use of other technologies that can be used together with pv3d

I'll get started on the basics for setting up and getting the example
projects to work, but links and contibutions can be
sent in my direction. Then I will put up a homepage (or a blog with the
final versions)
