[Papervision3D] 2d coordinates to 3d

Hi,
I am using tink's port of grant skinner's class for collision detection. I'm
doing collision in 2d ( top/down kind of view ) and using the
x and y coordinates from the 2d simulation to move things on x and z in 3d.
I just left the numbers as they are, but everything seems a bit offset.
Any tips on how to convert 2d coordinates to 3d in this case ?
