[Papervision3D] Issues with external SWFs?

Hi there,

I seem to be having some trouble with loading my PaperVision enabled SWF
file into a preloader. The site I'm trying to build is rather complicated
and will have 3D elements in different places. Right now I have a very basic
5kb loader (preload.swf) that calls index.swf. When I compile and run the
index on its own everything renders correctly in PV3D. When I load it via my
preloader I seem to get this:

TypeError: Error #2007: Parameter child must be non-null.
    at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer/addChild()
    at indexPage$iinit()

I'm not technically inclined enough to know what the heck is going on! :-(
