The fact that it requires a brand new plugin will slow its adoption.
Although, since its Google, and Google could easily own a huge chunk of the
web if it chose to, I think eventually o3d will see wide adoption.

It is possible to see o3d as the deathknell of papervision, but I don't
think thats quite accurate yet.  I think papervision still has plenty of
life left.  o3d has a long way to go before it eclipses Flash for cool stuff
in the browser.
