[Papervision3D] FLARToolkit with images?

Hi ­ does anybody know if it¹s possible to repurpose the FLARTool kit to
work with images instead of a video feed? So you could take a picture with
the icon/symbol in it, and have FLARToolkit detect it from the bitmap?
