[Papervision3D] Anyone know how Red did this?

It looks like the images of the model are just flat images.  You can see the
flatness on the top model by switching between Introduction and
Film/Television.

Also, you can see the quality of the images noticably improve once the
transition is complete.  This indicates that once the transition is
complete, the 3d rendering is replaced by a high quality 2D image.
