I also have a comment about ViewportLayers and Events.
It seems that if you have an object in your regular viewport (scene) and
then you create a viewport layer and add an object to it so that is
overlayed, then if the object in the viewport and not the viewportlayer is
closer to the camera than the object in the viewportlayer, you still get the
one in the viewport layer being drawn infront which is what you want, but,
then if you click on it (the one in the viewport layer, infront) the click
event goes to the one in just the viewport instead of the one in the
viewportlayer which is infront, and logically you would expect the event to
go to the one visually infront.
It seems to me that the event model is ignoring ViewportLayers and just
going by z. However I don't think that should be the case. Maybe I'm just
missing a step or something to make it work like i would expect it to?
Any one else agrees with me about this?
Thanks.
