[Papervision3D] Has anyone found a solution for dirty material edges?

I found the hack you mentioned but it doesn't solve my problem.
I re-read your original post to this thread and I see the hack turns off
smoothing automatically if some condition is met:
smooth && (v0x*(d2 - b2) - v1x*d2 + v2x*b2 > 400)
to be honest I'm not sure what that is checking :-(
However, turning off smoothing doesn't solve my problem - although it does
seem to aleviate it a little.
The only thing setting I can find that fixes it is turning tiling off.
